What it has to handle (checklist)
Kayak and SUP rental is low ticket and high turnover: the margin is in never losing an hour of board time and in the stand not becoming a bottleneck at 11am.
- Stock per unit type and time slot: how many doubles are left at 12:00, not just "available".
- Prices by duration and season applied automatically (1 h, 2 h, half day).
- Full payment or deposit online, with the balance taken at the beach.
- Rental agreement and waiver signed on the customer's phone, including minors with their guardian.
- Fast walk-up sales from the stand, or from a QR code the customer fills in themselves.
- WhatsApp answered in the customer's language, with real availability.
How to set it up, step by step
- 01Add each product with its stock: single kayak, double kayak, paddle board, guided tour.
- 02Set durations and seasonal prices; the booking engine applies them on your website, on WhatsApp and at the stand.
- 03Upload your rental agreement and waiver: customers sign when they book, or through the stand's QR code if they walk up.
- 04At the beach, staff see on one screen who is out, on which unit and when they are due back.
- 05At closing, sales by channel and product without reconciling by hand.
What it looks like in Solnow
Our data: what the WhatsApp agent does for a kayak operator

are handled by the AI at Moraira Boats, replying in 14 seconds at any hour. Production data, August 2026.
In a low-ticket activity, a late reply is a lost sale: customers message three companies on the same beach and book with whoever answers first. The full numbers are in the Moraira Boats case study.
Where it usually breaks
- Double-booked doubles: stock lives in a notebook and the website sells what already went out from the stand.
- Wet paper waivers nobody can find when there is a claim.
- Windy days: cancelling and rebooking everyone one phone call at a time.
- Paddles, life jackets and dry bags rented as extras but never charged because they are not in the system.
