What a watersports rental contract has to cover

How signing works in practice
- 01The booking generates the contract already filled in with what the system knows: customer, product, slot, base and price.
- 02The customer opens it on their phone, from the QR code at the desk or the link on their online booking, and completes what is missing: ID document and personal details.
- 03They sign on screen with a finger. If minors are involved, the annex is added and the guardian signs.
- 04The document is sealed, filed and sent to the customer by email or WhatsApp. The data flows straight into the official register.
Legal validity and retention
The signature is an advanced electronic signature: there is a record of which document was signed, when, from which device and with what cryptographic hash. That is what lets you prove, months later and against a claim, that this specific customer accepted these specific terms.
Contracts stay filed and findable. When a damage claim arrives about something from three months ago, locating the signed contract stops being an excavation through cardboard boxes.

Is an electronic signature as valid as a handwritten one?+
It is an advanced electronic signature with a timestamp and a document hash, under the eIDAS regulation. Against a ballpoint signature it has an evidential advantage: it records when and from where it was signed.
